A Word About Our Fit

You may have noticed that our Fit Guide looks different than what you are used to. That’s intentional. Since our goal is to be a better—more precise—clothing option for you, we knew that we had to forgo traditional sizing and create our own.

No more boy’s sizes 0 - 22.

No more men’s sizes XS - XXL.

Neither of those size ranges are truly tailored for this high-growth season of your life. They simply won’t help you achieve your truest fit.

But our exclusive fit will. Guaranteed.

When creating our collection, we used #science and growth charts via the CDC (we won’t overwhelm—or bore—you with this data) to create the most accurate sizing model for young men. One that will grow at the same rate as you (which, according to moms everywhere, seems hourly).

The difference between our sizes—which run from a size 1 to a size 8—is sometimes mere centimeters. But we know those centimeters can be the difference between unintentional ankle-bitters, or too-snug, chesty tees, and is how oversized becomes your default fit rather than your preference.

And we don’t want that for you.

How to find your d.RT fit: The easiest and fastest way is to look at our chart and go off the numbers you definitely know—your age and height. This is a great starting point. But for a more exact number, we recommend getting out a measuring tape (look in the junk drawer next to the batteries) and gather all of your measurements. You will need: Chest. Waist. Shoulder Width. Sleeve Length. Hip. Thigh. Inseam. Two minutes. And another human to help you. Preferably one who can assist you while you’re in your undergarments (we don't recommend measuring over your clothing).

Repeat as needed—or whenever you start to feel the fit of your clothes shift again in to highwater territory (unless you like that look—in which case, do you).
